Licensing Terms

Beat Licensing Overview

All beats sold by PRODan1sland are offered under tiered licensing agreements. Each tier grants different usage rights, stream limits, and deliverables. By purchasing a beat, you agree to the terms of the specific license tier selected at checkout. Please read each tier carefully to ensure it fits your project needs.

Non-Exclusive Lease

• Delivered in MP3 and/or WAV format
• Licensed for up to 10,000 total streams across all platforms
• You must credit "prod. PRODan1sland" in the song title, description, or metadata
• You may not resell, re-license, or redistribute the beat itself
• This license is non-transferable -- it applies only to the original purchaser
• The beat remains available for sale to other artists

Premium Lease

• Delivered in high-quality WAV format plus tracked-out stems
• Licensed for up to 50,000 total streams across all platforms
• You must credit "prod. PRODan1sland" in the song title, description, or metadata
• Tracked-out files (stems) are included for mixing flexibility
• You may not resell, re-license, or redistribute the beat or stems
• This license is non-transferable

Exclusive Rights

• Full ownership of the beat is transferred to the buyer
• Unlimited streams and sales -- no caps
• All stems and project files are included
• The beat is permanently removed from the store after purchase
• The buyer owns the master recording rights
• No further leases of the beat will be issued after the exclusive sale

Custom Production

• Custom beats are produced as work-for-hire -- the buyer owns the final product
• A 50% deposit is required before production begins
• All deliverables (format, BPM, key, vibe, references) must be agreed upon before production starts
• 2 revision rounds are included in the base price
• Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at an hourly rate
• Remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final files

Mixing & Mastering Services

• Final files delivered in WAV and MP3 formats
• 2 revision rounds are included with every mix and master
• Standard turnaround is 48 hours from receipt of all files
• Rush delivery is available for an additional fee -- inquire for pricing
• All session files and stems must be provided before work begins

Refund Policy

• Custom production work is non-refundable once production has begun
• Beat store purchases may be refunded within 24 hours of purchase, provided the files have not been used in any released or distributed work
• Mixing and mastering service disputes are handled on a case-by-case basis

Copyright & Credit

• Producer credit is required on all songs using leased beats (non-exclusive and premium)
• Accepted credit formats: "prod. PRODan1sland" or "prod. by PRODan1sland"
• Credit must appear in the song title, track description, liner notes, or metadata on all distribution platforms
• Failure to provide proper credit is a violation of the license agreement
